We are Hiring!
We are seeking candidates for Postdoctoral Scholar and Research Scientist roles to work with us on an exciting new direction in MR acquisition and reconstruction. The successful candidates will help design and build paradigm-shifting technologies – primarily pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms – to improve a broad sector of clinical imaging. The MRTUD group as a whole enables efficient, patient-focused and robust clinical imaging through design of new pulse sequence and reconstruction methods, new user interfaces and processes for protocoling, and innovative, value-driven use cases for patient diagnosis. We are specifically looking for people with skill and passion in advanced pulse sequence development and reconstruction, including experience with Non-Cartesian (e.g. spiral) methods. Extensive pulse programming experience is required for the Research Scientist position, ideally with GE’s EPIC. Some post-graduate experience is also required for the Research Scientist position. Please apply or submit requests for more information through the portan below. Also, please note that while our lab may use existing AI/DL in our reconstruction, we are not primarily interested in developing AI algorithms for reconstruction or image enhancement; candidates for whom this is a primary interest should not apply.
Additionally, we are occasionally looking for motivated and talented graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Trainees in our lab will apply engineering, math, physics, signal processing, design, and other skills to clinically relevant problems, with most projects implemented in software. They have the opportunity to gain in-depth expertise in pulse sequence programming, image reconstruction, and related technologies. They will be able to interact with a wide range of technical and clinical colleagues, as well as industrial partners.
We draw students from the Departments of Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and others. Prospective students will need to apply directly with the appropriate department(s) for admission, but interested students should feel free to contact us directly about opportunities.
